Il n'est pas inscrit monument historique et n'est pas répertorié sur la base Mérimée. Il est décrit comme le moulin St Jaymes, moulin tour muni de ses toile. L'office du tourisme date ce moulin à vent, situé à la sortie du bourg, de 1726. Il est le témoin d'une ancienne activité importante meunière car il y aurait eu six moulins à vent à Lupiac. Oltre a diverse sculture romaniche e lapidi funerarie, è da notare l'architrave scolpito a bassorilievo, che fu commissionato dall'abate Guillaume e realizzato nel 1019-1020 in marmo bianco di Céret: è la più antica scultura romanica datata. Vi è rappresentato al centro Cristo in maestà, iscritto in una mandorla con orlo perlinato, sostenuta da due arcangeli e inquadrata da due gruppi di tre personaggi iscritti sotto delle arcate. Al di sopra dei gruppi di personaggi laterali si trova un'iscrizione: ANNO VIDESIMO QUARTO RENNATE ROTBERTO REGE WILIELMUS GRATIA ABA ISTA OPERA FIERI IUSSIT IN ONORE SANCTI GENESII CENOBII QUE VOCANT FONTANES. La datazione è riferita al ventiquattresimo anno di regno del re Roberto II, figlio di Ugo Capeto. In origine la scultura fu probabilmente utilizzata come supporto dell'altare, ma venne collocata come architrave del portale nel corso dei rifacimenti del XII secolo. in NOTA il dettaglio. Un boulevard è una strada di comunicazione posta dove vi erano in precedenza delle mura antiche e deriva dall'olandese bolwerk (che significa appunto "roccaforte", "bastione"). Il termine baluardo (balluardo, bellovardo) è attestato dal pieno Cinquecento in Italia fra la corrente terminologia d'architettura e ingegneria militare. La parola è stata usata dal XV secolo in Francia dove fu francesizzata in boulevard. Così fu possibile far sì che il traffico transitasse all'esterno di una città come se fosse una circonvallazione. È, di solito, una strada relativamente importante a più corsie di marcia e con ampi marciapiedi ai lati.
