The Fraumünster Church in Zurich is built on the remains of a former abbey for aristocratical women which was founded in 853 by Louis the German for his daughter Hildegard. The abbey was dissolved on 30 November 1524 in the course of the reformation and the monastery buildings were destroyed in 1898. Today, the church belongs to the Swiss Reformed Church and is one of the three main churches of Zürich, the other's being the Grossmünster and St. Peter's church. Very beautiful the new stained glass windows in the choir by Marc Chagall. E tutto questo appena dopo essere uscito dal bellissimo lago Zürichsee (Lago di Zurigo). Nella foto sottostante si ha la visione a 180°, cioè verso il lago.
