Seen from maybe 30 miles distance and at a height of around 36,000 ft, this is rather impressive. Must be spectacular to see at close range. Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey, on the border with Armenia. The snow covered peak is Greater Ararat, at just over 16,500 ft and the fabled resting place of Noah's Ark. The peak on the right is Lesser Ararat, at 12,800 ft. Sun4Jun06
