Peak Type 4 No 88 snakes its way out of Bristol Temple Meads with a train for the West Country. Under the TOPS renumbering, this became 45136. Sat31Jul71. Scanned

A snowy day in Newcastle, with Peak Sulzer Type 4 No 22 supplying steam heat to its train bound for the West of England, and Brush Type 4 No 1775 with a departure for Kings Cross. 'Peak' Class 45 No 129, which finished its days as 45073, has been uncoupled from its train and makes its way to the diesel depot, whilst another Class 45, No 88, later fitted with ETH and renumbered to 45136, awaits departure to the West Country.
