Virgin Atlantic Airways Boeing B747-443 G-VROS, named ‘English Rose’, moves out at Manchester with VS078 to Bridgetown. In the background is Boeing B747-446 EI-XLF of Rossiya, parked outside the paintshop waiting to fly back to Moscow. Formerly JA8921 of Japan Air Lines, then to Transaero as EI-XLF in 2011, before that firm went bust in 2015. Aquired by Rossiya in May2016. Mon6Jun16.

Rossiya Tupolev Tu-154M RA-85834 at Frankfurt. This aircraft was formerly with Pulkovo Airlines before merger, as in the previous photo, and the similarity in the colour scheme is apparent. Sun17Aug08
