The ex-London and South Western Railway line from Staines to Windsor & Eton Riverside station opened in 1849. Now known as the Windsor Line it passes through Sunnymeads station although the station wasn't actually opened until 1927 by the Southern Railway. Seen from Welley Road bridge as we walked from a friend's house in the early hours of the morning following birthday celebrations. Night-time perambulations were not part of our original plan but due to the failure of our "Uber" to turn up as booked... Still, you do sober up more quickly in the cool night air!
