GCR Winter Steam Gala 2019. During our lay over in the Down Carriage Sidings I was left alone for a while on the footplate of our visitor from the Severn Valley Railway, Great Western Railway Manor 4-6-0 7802 Bradley Manor. So what do you do after you've made sure the fire and water are in good shape and you've pulled some coal forward? Take a photo from the tender of course!

Great Western Railway Manor Class 4-6-0 7802 Bradley Manor climbs away Rothley's Section signal with the 11.20 from Loughborough. At this point the engine is on the 1 in 176 gradient. 7802 was visiting the GCR for the Winter Gala in January but stayed on for a while before returning to its home base at Bridgnorth.
