We were stopping at the red Down Section signal (extreme left) when Southern rebuilt Bulleid Battle of Britain pacific 34053 Sir Keith Park passed on the Up Main with a train for Leicester North. On the right is the single line Mountsorrel branch which reopened last autumn.
