Back in mid-Covid times we took a stroll down New Walk in Leicester. Opened in 1785 the traffic-free street follows the trace of the old Roman Via Devana, the Colchester to Chester road through Roman Leicester (Ratae Corieltauvorum). This fine listed Georgian terrace with wrought iron fencing and balconies has always been a favourite. HFF to everyone & have a great weekend.
