Claus Bergen visited Polperro in Cornwall for several months each autumn from 1908-1911 & initially made his name in Germany with his numerous paintings of Polperro subjects. Seen at Falmouth Art Gallery Cornwall.

The beautiful little fishing village and harbour of Polperro on the south coast of Cornwall was once a smugglers paradise. HFF & have a great weekend.
