For some years now the Stoom Stichting Nederland (SSN) have been established in a modern depot east of the centre of Rotterdam but in 1982 they were still located in sidings at Spaanse Polder. Most of the steam locos on the SSN books are of German origin since NS disposed of their steam fleet in the 1950s. 2-8-2 41105 was built in 1939 for the Deutsche Reichsbahn by Krupp.
