A sailing boat passing the lighthouse near the mouth of Sydney bay. We spent a week in Sydney back in 1979 en route to Medan in Sumatra. Having said that I'm not sure which lighthouse this is. Any ideas? Thanks to Graham I now realise this is Hornby lighthouse and the pic was taken from the harbour cruise ship.

En route to Indonesia from the US we were going to take the train from Sydney to Perth but the railwaymen went on strike. We took the plane instead & so we had 3 more days in Western Australia. We rented a car and drove out of the city. This beautiful deserted beach on the Indian Ocean was just off the road north of Perth I think. Anyone recognise it?

The original wooden footbridge at Dutton Park station is of course is now long gone as is everything else in view. The bridge was in two sections but neither span looked particularly solid! A Queensland Railways 2000 Class railcar is seen heading north towards Brisbane city centre. Currently the station is closed for rebuilding as part of the Cross River Rail development. HFF to everyone. Enjoy your weekend.
