The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway does just what it says on the can - runs trains to and from the named locations! Motive power is normally hired in and Great Western Small Prairie 2-6-2T 5526, based at the South Devon Railway, is in charge of the services for the 2019 season. Running under express lamps it departed a few minutes later with the 17.06 to Chinnor 5526 was built by the GWR at Swindon Works in 1928 and withdrawn by BR in 1962, arriving at Woodham's scrapyard at Barry later that year. After 23 years on death row it was saved for preservation in 1985.
