After my leisurely ride on Great Western Modified Hall 4-6-0 6990 Witherslack Hall Les and me relieved Pete & Aran for the last trip of the day. More exertion on my part this time but no photos! We arrived back on shed to find both pits occupied so were instructed to stable the Hall in road 3. I ran the irons through the fire and topped up the boiler and we were done. She still had 120psi on the boiler but the fire was blackening and there's not a whiff of steam around.
