Water tank at Quorn on the Pichi Richi Railway, South Australia. The South Australian Railways seem to have made the most of selling advertising opportunities on their water tanks across the state.

The water tower is dwarfed by the grain silos at Čačak in central Serbia.

The town of Orroroo was once connected by rail to Peterborough and Quorn, and was served by a Class 1 station and a large Goods Shed. During 1962 concrete grain silos were built in the Yard. These provided the bulk of traffic until the railway was closed in 1987. Since then the grain is trucked from here to a rail head (eg at Gladstone). It then travels by train to one of the ports that take grain ships - Port Adelaide, Port Pirie or Wallaroo.

I shot a few views from the bus window as it crossed the Danube in Belgrade on a very foggy day. The result here is astonishing. After processing to bring the buildings out of the fog it ended up looking rather different from the usual results from the trusty Canon. The vignetting is a bonus in this case, and just appeared as I tinkered with the contrast! As for the view, I think it shows a power station and grain silos.
