A nice rotating vent with wind vane on an agricultural building at Newhall in Cheshire.

Fletchers 'Storm King' ventilator at the Bee Hive Mills, Great Lever, Bolton. Many brickworks made a wide range of clay products beyond common bricks and this is just one example. Sadly this is now gone as one of the mills burned down and all has been demolished and replaced with houses.

This vent is in the outer wall of the substation for the silica grinding works just below Harboro Rocks, Brassington, Derbyshire. It is marked "COWELLS SANATORIUM VENTILATOR" and I can find no trace of the manufacturer.

Broken Cross Co-op closed as a grocery shop many years ago and the building has seen several re-uses since. The ventilators are the originals from when Branch No.21 was built in 1930.
