Broadstone Mill in Reddish was originally erected as a double mill for 260,000 mule spindles in 1903-7, only half of the structure has survived since cotton processing ended in 1959. It is remarkable that the window structure has seen so little alteration since then as the building is now in multiple industrial and commercial occupation.

The terracotta work on this public house of 1909 is top quality, and the decoration on the downspout is also a step up from normal. Sadly the premises were derelict and showed every sign of being due for demolition.
