This small draw kiln sits in a remote spot on the edge of Malham Moor in Threshfield, North Yorkshire. At some time there has been a certain amount of conservation work undertaken on the structure. The quarry behind is very small and it is probable that the kiln was only used a few times to provide lime for use on the adjacent pasture.

Part way through a day of walking in the Yorkshire Dales National Park I found this scene comprising a barn, small quarry and a collapsed and robbed kiln on the bank below.
