Manhole cover outside Chester Station. The lettering presumably refers to the Birkenhead Joint Railway which ran from Chester to Birkenhead and was operated by the London and North Western Railway and the Great Western Railway, or maybe it's Birkenhead Junction Railway. I would love to know what is the answer.

The Westminster Coach and Motor Car Works building in Chester has a façade of elaborately moulded terracotta and red brick and was designed by Philip H Lockwood and is believed to have been built in 1913-14.

Decorative work dated 1881 on a building in Vicar's Lane in Chester. There is a lot of weathering damage to the brickwork which is probably a local product rather than from the quality terracotta manufacturers around Ruabon.
