The 600mm line from the Haljinici coal mine to the Catici washery was originally electrified but the wires were stolen during the civil war. When production restarted the line began operating diesel locomotives manufactured in Italy by Valente. The usual load is 15 one tonne tubs. The electric locomotives have been scrapped.
