Springfield Mill in Sandiacre was built in 1888 as a lace factory for Terah Hooley, a wealthy local industrialist, by architect John Sheldon of Long Eaton. The total capacity of the factory was originally 160 machines. It has now been converted to apartments and is listed Grade II.

Harrington Mills, Long Eaton. It was really good to see this mill still in industrial use and the hoists being used.

The terracotta frontage of the Boden and Co lace warehouse on Weekday Cross/Fletcher Gate in Nottingham is certainly designed to impress the customer. There is some fine detail work in the design.
