Small disused field kiln just outside Butterton. It is in a good state of repair which is quite unusual for this type of structure.

I took a trip over to the Staffordshire Moorlands this afternoon in search of limekilns. My journey led me to Butterton, a delightful village set amongst rolling hills. This is looking over the village from the aptly named Lime Kiln Road.
