The premises the Alderley Edge pastrycook features a little terracotta decoration. After passing by in the car for many years I finally made the effort to stop and capture it on camera.

The modernist showroom of the former Tower Garage at Alderley Edge has now been converted into a cafe/eatery. It looks to me as if it has just landed from outer space!

With the sun finally making a friday morning appearance it was over to Alderley Edge to see 6201 with the Scarborough Flyer on the approach to Wilmslow. After four dull weeks I reckon we deserved a bit of glint too!
