A little early morning glint from the cylinder of the lead QJ as it heads a train uphill past Bilgou on the Jinpeng section of the Jitong Railway. As usual they sounded great!

To catch that special morning light you have to get up early and miss breakfast. QJs 7041 and 7009 are well into the climb with an eastbound train approaching Biliigou on the Jinpeng section of the Jitong Railway.

Early morning sun illuminates the exhaust from a heavy freight climbing the Jinpeng pass towards Biligou. Scenes such as this made it worthwhile getting up early and missing breakfast .
