The view over Cheshire from Bosley Cloud is one of my favourites. The patchwork of fields in the sunlight leads to the viaduct on the railway between Congleton and Macclesfield. In 1962 the National Trust acquired 135 acres of land on the Cloud, of which 26 acres lie in Staffordshire and this includes this popular viewpoint.
