This is Bee Hive Mills, Great Lever. The Bee Hive Spinning Company Ltd. built the No.1 Mill (left of the tower) in 1895 and the No.2 Mill (right) in 1902. After a disastrous fire both have been demolished.

Today's walk around Bolton yielded lots of terracotta in the town centre and textile mills further out. This is Bee Hive Mills, Great Lever from Eustace Street. The Bee Hive Spinning Company Ltd. built the No.1 Mill (left) in 1895 and the No.2 Mill (right) in 1902.
