Seen at the Hillhead Quarry Exhibition, these two chaps from Northern Ireland were taking a break on their display stand. Screenspares offer a wide selection of conveyor belting, components and services to the OEM, Waste Recycling and Aggregate industries globally.

A wonderful industrial railway scene from the Macclesfield model railway exhibition. This is a model of the Fallgate station and yard on the Ashover Light Railway as it was in the late 1930s.

Another fine bit of modelling from the recent Macclesfield Model Railway Exhibition. This one is based on the premise that the old Anglesey Central Railway had extended beyond Red Wharf Bay to reach Benllech. Sunday services actually ran on this line, unlike the original, ! :-)

Loosely based upon the Injector Works of Davies and Metcalfe (Engineers to Railway and Industry), but with added railway connection, is this model of Gillan & Brown (Engineers to the World) seen at the Macclesfield Model Railway Exhibition this weekend.

Highlight for me at the Macclesfield model railway exhibition was Mick Simpson's Wansbeck Road at 2mm scale. A beautifully detailed model of a County Durham colliery village station in the late 50s/early 60s.
