Cargill’s rapeseed crush plant and refinery at Brocklebank Dock, Liverpool has been operating since 1995. The crush plant produces mid protein meal and crude rape oil and has facilities to outload oil for export.

Situated on the banks of the Trent and Mersey Canal is the factory of Centura Foods, now part of the Premier Foods group. I believe that Bisto gravy browning is manufactured here.
