A wonderful industrial railway scene from the Macclesfield model railway exhibition. This is a model of the Fallgate station and yard on the Ashover Light Railway as it was in the late 1930s.

Another fine bit of modelling from the recent Macclesfield Model Railway Exhibition. This one is based on the premise that the old Anglesey Central Railway had extended beyond Red Wharf Bay to reach Benllech. Sunday services actually ran on this line, unlike the original, ! :-)

Loosely based upon the Injector Works of Davies and Metcalfe (Engineers to Railway and Industry), but with added railway connection, is this model of Gillan & Brown (Engineers to the World) seen at the Macclesfield Model Railway Exhibition this weekend.

One of the ambitious projects currently underway at the excellent Anson Museum , is the diorama of Poynton as it was in 1900. This is being undertaken by the local history volunteers who have already put in 1700 hours of work on the model. In this view the centre is occupied by the Lord and Lady Pits with the Newtown Houses to the right and Petre Bank cottages behind. To the right of this is the Quarry Pit and in the left background are the Park Pits.

Macclesfield Bus Station and not a chav in sight in the happy days when the North Western Road Car Company provided services in proper buses. If only ....................... Macclesfield Model Railway Exhibition 2008.
