Brownsfield Mill was constructed in 1825 as a room and power cotton mill on the side of the Rochdale Canal in the Ancoats district of Manchester with power supplied by a sixty horse power steam engine. It is Listed Grade II*.
Clarence Arcade

Clarence Arcade, Stamford Street Central, Ashton-under-Lyne, is Tameside's only covered Victorian shopping arcade and was built in 1893. As the focus of shopping moved away from Stamford Street the arcade fell on hard times but has now been refurbished and many of the former shops are now offices. Inside it is eerily quiet and devoid of people.
2-6 Market Place, Atherton

2-6 Market Place in Atherton was originally built to house Williams Deacon's Bank. Completed in 1889 and opened in 1901 the building was designed by Bradshaw & Gass of Bolton in the Flemish Renaissance style with plenty of terracotta decoration. It has recently been extensively refurbished and is an important building in the town.
Lorne Street Mill, Farnworth

There were once three mills on this site, but only the last two have survived. Lorne Street No.2 mill was erected in the late 19th century by Horrockses, Crewdson and Co, and was followed by the No.3 Mill in 1915. Both are listed Grade II and are now in multiple occupation.
