Tenterden Bank

Just like a model railway - Kent & East Sussex Railway P Class No.753 takes a short freight onto Tenterden Bank shortly after departing from Rolvenden.
This was a case of being in the right place at the right time as this working was not advertised and appeared to be a positioning move for the wagons using the locomotive intended for service on the vintage coaches for the rest of the day.

The fortieth anniversary of the Foxfield Railway was celebrated with a special weekend of trains. Bagnall built 'Lewisham' was one of the locomotives in service and is seen here moving forward onto its train at Caverswall Road Station. The countryside seen from the train looked at its best and the good news is that services from the Foxfield Colliery site could start later this year.
