A small field kiln on a slope just above the A65. This kiln appears to have been active in 1846 but was disused by 1893.

The draw tunnels of the three running kilns adjacent to the Craven Limeworks at Langcliffe are built into the rock face. The kilns were built by Thomas Murgatroyd in the early 1870s and were out of use by 1900.

Almost like a castle with battlements, this is the Hoffmann Kiln at the Craven Limeworks, near Settle. Abandoned since 1939 the kiln is now in the care of the local authority.
