A Grey squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) gathering Hazelnuts, photographed in Victoria Park near the village of Barrowford in the North-West of England. Many of the squirrels here are quite relaxed around people and will often allow you to hand-feed them (as this one did). Photographed with a Sony RX100 compact camera and processed with Nikon Capture NX2 software.
