Diederik Santema's photos with the keyword: crescent

Waarschijnlijk niet mijn beste foto, maar wel een favoriet: de stam van een dode boom. Genomen in het natuurreservaat Haaksbergerveen in Twente. Bovenop de piek van de stam lijkt de maansikkel de stam aan te raken, dit geeft de foto een extra surreëel accent. Een andere surreëel accent is de stam: die lijkt op een zwarte bliksemflits. I took the photo just after sunset in the nature reserve Haaksbergerveen (peat and heath) in the east of The Netherlands. On the peak of the stem the crescent moon seems to touch the point which gives the photo an extra touch of surreality. Another surreal touch is the stem: it just looks like a black lightning flash.
