So, ‘steel steeds’ in a double decks bicycle rack near the Centraal Station in Amsterdam. Most bikes in the rack do not have gears and that is quite common in The Netherlands. Today there are the unofficial Dutch Headwind Cycling Championships which uses bicycles without gears. These championships can only be held on a day like this, a storm with a force of 9 to 10 on the Beaufort scale (75-102 km/h) named ‘Ciara’ is blowing today.
