Deze foto staat symbool voor wat ik dit jaar wil doen: namelijk vervolg waarmee ik bezig ben. Ik ben op een duidelijke weg (de zandweg) en ook beschut (de beuken). De weg is ook verlicht (zonlicht) en ik ga ook naar het licht toe hoewel die nog in nevelen gehuld is (het was die dag heiig). Dit alles doe ik op een gezonde, sportieve manier, zoals gesymboliseerd door de hardloper. En dan bedenk ik mij weer dat ik een gezegend mens ben dat ik dit kan doen. I am on a clear road (the sand road) which is sheltered (the beeches). The road is also lightened (by the sun) and I am moving towards the light although it is shrouded in hazyness (it was hazy that day). All this I do on a healthy, sportive manner as symbolised by the runner. And then I think about that I am a blessed human being that can do these things. 1919. Het station Beekbergen aan de lijn Apeldoorn – Dieren bestaat 33 jaar. Over 31 jaar vertrekt de laatste passagierstrein en weer 34 jaar later gaat de laatste goederentrein. Sinds 1975 wordt een toeristische stoomtrein geëxploiteerd die tijdens vakanties rijdt. Plannen om de lijn te heropenen voor normaal passagiersvervoer zijn niet meer actueel. Het perron ligt erg laag en is bestraat met klinkers, iets wat nu niet normaal is. De trein is een anachronisme want hij bestond nog niet in 1919. De wagons zijn uit de jaren 50, de locomotief is in Duitsland in 1942 gebouwd. Na de oorlog diende de lok in de DDR, zie www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qZBpjAA9r8 (video van 1987). – – – 1919. The station Beekbergen on the line Apeldoorn – Dieren is now 33 years in operation. In 31 years the last passengers train will leave and another 34 years later the very last freighttrain will leave. Since 1975 a touristical steam train service is operated during holidays. Plans from several years ago to reopen the line for passengertrains were put away. The platform is very low and paved with bricks, something is not present at modern day stations. The train is an anachronism as it did not exist yet in 1919. The wagons are from the 1950s, the locomotive (DR 50 3654-6) was built in Germany in 1942.
