Het water van de Skjálfandafljót stort zich via grote én kleine kanalen in de diepte. De zon verdwijnt langzaamaan achter de bergen en werpt nog wat licht op de waterval en de directe omgeving. Deze waterval ligt vlakbij het noordelijke einde van de bergweg Sprengisandsleið (F26). - - - The sun is slowly disappearing behind the mountains en is casting some light on the waterfall and its close surroundings. De waterval Hrafnabjargafoss is één van de vele watervallen in de Skjálfandafljót. Voor deze foto stond ik achter een richel die het snelstromende en koude water tegenhield.
