Scavenge Hunt 22/50: Tweeluik Tweede Paasdag bracht ons een grote en snelle afwisseling tussen zonneschijn en hagel- en sneeuwbuien. Met een krachtige noordwestenwind en 4ºC (tijdens buien dalend naar 1ºC) was het dan ook guur. De bovenste foto is van rond half zes, de onderste van even na zes uur. – – – Scavenge Hunt 22/50: Diptych Easter Monday brought us a big and fast alternation between sunshine and hail and snow showers. With a strong breeze from the north-west and 4ºC (dropping to 1ºC during showers), it was bleak. Saturday Self Challenge: Pannen Staand op een brug kon ik uitstekend voorbijrijdende treinen schieten. Het moeilijkste was om de camera op gelijke snelheid met de trein te bewegen, maar na een aantal mislukte pogingen ging dit steeds beter. Uiteindelijk koos ik voor deze foto want deze geeft het best de beweging aan. Op de foto de achterkant van de Eurostartrein van Londen St.Pancras naar Amsterdam Centraal die daar slechts 4½ uur over deed. De trein is nu op weg naar het rangeerterrein voor schoonmaak. The most difficult was getting a good match between the camera and the speed of the train, but after some failed attempts it went better. At the end I choose for this photo because it shows the movement the best. On the photo the rear end of the Eurostar train from London St.Pancras to Amsterdam Centraal with a travelling time of a little less than 4½ hours. The train is now on its way to the railway yard for cleaning. Tijdens de avond van 19 juni trok een korte, maar hevige bui met wat onweer over. Eerst was er een rolwolk te zien en na een kwartier was de bui over en een turbulente lucht liet alle kleur uit de lucht verdwijnen. – – – During the evening of 19th June there was a short but heavy shower with some thunder. Op de foto de Nieuwe Vaart met op de achtergrond de molen ‘De Gooijer’, ingeraamd in de brugleuning. ‘s Morgens vroeg genomen. Links de foto zoals uit de camera (wel tot een 4:5 ratio uitgesneden). De tweede foto is een nabewerking in Lightroom. Enkele schuivers aangepast, een radiaal filter toegevoegd boven de bomen links want het was te licht. Rechtsonder was het te donker en daar een (negatief) grijsfilter toegevoegd. De derde foto is dezelfde maar dan gereduceerd tot vier kleuren en de laatste is gereduceerd tot twee kleuren. Left on the photo straight from the camera (although cropped to the ration 4:5). The second photo is after processing in Lightroom. Changed some sliders, white balance, added a radial filter above the trees left because it was a little too light there. In the lower corner right added a (negative) neutral density filter to add some light. The third photo is the same but the number of colours reduced to four, the last has been reduced to two colours.
