Saturday Self Challenge: Letters of tekst Filosofische tekst in tien verschillende talen op twee borden aan de muur van een flatgebouw. De twee borden zijn aangebracht aan verschillende kanten, dus de lichtval is verschillend. De twee foto’s heb ik met opzet asymmetrisch aan elkaar gemonteerd. De talen zijn Frans, Indonesisch, Engels, Russisch (of Bulgaars), Nederlands, Turks, Arabisch, Duits, Spaans en Noors (of Deens). – – – Saturday Self Challenge: Letters or text Philosophical text in ten different languages on two plates on the wall of an apartment building. The two plates are mounted on different sides, so the incidence of light is different. I have deliberately mounted the two pictures asymmetrically. ‘De sleutel ligt onder de deurmat.’ Voor toegang tot dit gebouw is een sleutel nodig en deze ligt op de gebruikelijke plek zoals de tekst in de trap aangeeft. De sleutel om de tekst in de trap te fotograferen is een goed gekozen standpunt, een beetje naar links of naar rechts en er ontstaat een willekeurig patroon van betonnen vierkanten en rechthoeken in de trap. Wanneer je de link naar Streetview volgt kun je dat voor jezelf zien. Key for photographing this text is a well chosen standpoint., a little bit to the left or to the right makes the text a rather random pattern of concrete squares and rectangels.
