Ansel Adams earned a modest living as a stage performer in the Ahwahnee Hotel in the late 1920s before he became famous for his photography. Just imagine what it was like to live in Yosemite Valley, waking up each morning surrounded by spectacular granite cliffs. This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and SMC PENTAX 67 1:4 45mm lens and 82mm Tiffen UV filter using Fuji 400-H film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
