This prickly fellow is taking no chances! Fenced into a corner, it is displaying a formidable defense against all threats. One might say it is a bit paranoid! This photo was taken by a Minolta SRT102 film camera with a MD Tele Rokkor-X 135mm 1:35 lens and Tiffen 55mm Haze filter using Kodak Portra 160 135 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitalized by Photoshop.

My new Brazilian resident cactus, Tacinga saxatilis, raises it's hackles at even the slightest sign of intruders. It is way too sensitive! Calm down, alright already . . . This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 1:4 f=150mm lens attached to a 21mm extension tube with a Kowa L39•3C(UV) filter using CineStill 50D film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
