Designed to thwart an enemy invasion, this military fortification with it's cannon turret is now a place to relax and picnic while watching the marine traffic go in and out of the Golden Gate. May peace forever reign here. This image was taken by a Zenza Bronica S2 medium format film camera with a NIKKOR-H 1:3.5 f=5cm lens and Hoya 82mm HMC O[G] filter using Kodak 400TX film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
