In the Woods

Last Photo of the Day

28 Nov 2017 5 2 509
As the late afternoon sun touched the horizon at dusk I came upon Chimney Rock near the tiny settlement of Towaoc on the edge of the Navajo Nation. With only seconds of light left before twilight commenced I quickly propped the camera on a fence post and took my last photo of the day. This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Sonnar 1:4 f=150mm lens and Zenza Bronica 67mm SY44•2C(Y1) filter using Rollei RPX 25 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
