That summer in San Francisco in 1967 was a long time ago, but people of all generations still assemble from time to time to celebrate life, friendship and music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=671AgW9xSiA This photo was taken by a Zenza Bronica S2 medium format film camera with a ZENZANON 1:2.8 f=100mm lens and Hoya 67mm Skylight 1A filter using Fuji Pro 400-H film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Last weekend I went back in time 50 years for a few hours, joining a multi-generational gathering at the Sound Summit concert held at the Mountain Theater on top Mt. Tamalpais. Members of the Grateful Dead and friends performed, a show reminiscent of the heady days of the Summer of Love. It seemed appropriate that I record the event with a 1960s vintage film camera.
