For decades Pacific Coast Highway 1 was subject to massive slides here during the winter rainy season. Since a bypass tunnel was constructed the former highway has be converted into a trail maintained by the park service with spectacular ocean views.
This photo was taken from a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera with a KOWA 1:3.5/55mm lens using Kodak Ektar 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Devil's Slide Trail, formerly a section of California Coastal Highway 1 is fenced off to prevent unfortunate encounters with the Prince of Darkness by hikers (and photographers).
