In an alternate infrared dimension someone is also taking a nature walk on a beautiful Northern CalifornIRa winter day. They also had a close call with a rock serpent bursting through the ground, looking for easy prey. This tripod-assisted photo was taken with a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm T* lens and Hoya Infrared R72 ø67 filter using Rollei Infrared 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
