When on a photo safari, a stop at The Forbes Bench on the slopes of Mount Tamalpais State Park gave us a view looking southward towards the Golden Gate Strait and San Francisco. This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated-Takumar/6X7 1:3.5/55mm lens using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Livin' in the 60s

Last weekend I went back in time 50 years for a few hours, joining a multi-generational gathering at the Sound Summit concert held at the Mountain Theater on top Mt. Tamalpais. Members of the Grateful Dead and friends performed, a show reminiscent of the heady days of the Summer of Love. It seemed appropriate that I record the event with a 1960s vintage film camera. Well, I am back from my trip and once again in the present. www.youtube.com/watch?v=671AgW9xSiA This photo was taken by a Zenza Bronica S2 medium format film camera with a ZENZANON 1:2.8 f=100mm lens and Hoya 67mm Skylight 1A filter using Kodak 400TX film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
