Several flights of stairs wind up to a patio and the entrance to Domaine Carneros, a Napa sparkling wine producer in partnership with Tattinger. This high-end winery would like to fence in it’s visitors (with their wallets) behind a fancy banister for their safety. This photo was taken by a Yashica-D TLR medium format camera and Yashikor 1:3.5 f=80mm lens with a HOYA HMC 49mm Y[K2] filter using Kodak T-MAX 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and KOWA 1:3.5/55mm lens using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

The sheep herders of this pastoral area would have been shocked to see what their land would become - The Carneros District of Sonoma/Napa. The rolling hills are now covered in tidy vineyards with monumental wineries overlooking the domaine. All that is left of the past is the name and this fountain sculpture. This photo was taken by a Kiev 60 medium format film camera and МС BEГA-26B 2.8/120mm lens using Fuji Reala 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
