From the heights of the pyramid of Edzna is an overlook of it's Mayan ball court. There were no goals scored on this afternoon in a match which by all accounts was a to-the-death struggle . . . The five story staircase leading up the main pyramid of the Edzna Mayan temple complex has been half-restored. According to archaeologists this site was occupied by 600BC and like many Mayan sites, it's decline and abandonment remain a mystery.
