From The Paul Masson Mountain Winery is an overlook of Silicon Valley. Everyone has heard of this place, headquarters of many of the world's most important Computer and Internet Technology companies. In showing you this overlook view I can probably be chastised for not taking the photo with an iPhone! By the way, silicon is not only useful in creating computer chips - it is essential in creating glass bottles to store wine. With that, I raise my glass to Silicon!! This photo was taken by a Yashica-D TLR medium format film camera and Yashikor 1:3.5 f=80mm lens using Fuji Reala 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered in Photoshop.

Paul Masson Mountain Winery is perhaps best known for it's amphitheater where concerts and corporate events are staged, surrounded by vintage buildings and a spectacular overlook of Silicon Valley (see next post). This photo was shot from a Yashica-D TLR medium format camera and Yashikor 1:3.5 f=80mm lens using Fuji Reala 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered in Photoshop.
